What is carbotan?

Carbotan´s Mine in Cundinamarca, Colombia has the potential to produce over 2 million tonnes of pure graphite per year. This vast reserve, coupled with the mine’s advanced operating capabilities, will ensure a long-term supply of high-quality graphite for the expanding lithium-ion battery market.

The mine will utilize a state-of-the-art truck and shovel operation to extract approximately 2 million tonnes of material annually. 

Carbotan´s mine represents a significant milestone in Colombia’s journey towards becoming a key player in the global graphite industry.
